Step 2 CK timing? Urgent

Hi guys,

I am planning to take step 2 CK mid-November. How will this affect my match chances? Will it affect the number of interviews I get and which programs will rank me? I have read that more and more programs are requiring step 2 to just interview, how many programs are like this?

Some background on my ERAS app - 241 Step 1, 4/7 honors, top 25 med school, 17 pubmed papers mostly in ortho.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
